Basic strategy

We must keep in mind the following points, which are basic:

  • On the flop, never go to a Low with 2 high cards (over 8)
  • On the flop, never go to a High with 2 low cards (under 8)
  • For a project than the Nuts (Hi or Low) never go.
  • For a project to take 1 / 2 pot never go.
  • The letters mean as 6,7,8,9, do not play ever, there will be a Low on the table if you max out a ladder.
  • When it is clear that some have flush or straight, never go to a full (unless you get good odds to make a mini-bet)
  • Your tokens do NOT mess with small sets.

Referring to the initial hand , my hand would be as follows:

  • A2: You can play any A2 from any position, if the game is loose-passive (mostly low). Of course it’s better if the Ace is Suited. You can come up with hands such as A23x or A24x as they are excellent. Personally I prefer to rise from late only to be putting the boat robust enough when they made their entry different players. I seems to rise from early, because people tend to leave, and while most people have in the pot is better, with these hands.
  • A3: It requires support for play, as the Ace Suited or another low card like 4 or 5.
  • A4: Requiring a real help, as the Ace Suited and a large family or 5.
  • 23: Particularly I play 2345, 2346 or 2356, and of course if you do not get the ace on the flop, fold.
  • High letters: letters from T. AKQJ, AKJT, KKQJ, etc. It better if they are large or contain pairs Suited. Beware as some couples are KQJT Suited are not as they seem to KJ in Hold ‘Em, most times you will get a good flop but the river will lose.
  • AAXX, KKXX, QQxx: Most of these hands are playable, except those combinations, and QQ97, etc. With AA3X AA2X or can be raised and re-raise, plus my opponent can see or not. With the sets must be careful, because they are drawing hands that help you make a full fat, because if it get away a set on the table there will be a project of Low or High. So, watch out. Some people say that KK is better than AA, since if it shows top set with AA and there is an A in the table (a letter to Low), for the Lows are more likely.
