True Poker

True Poker is one of the best around, but is certainly not the choice of players wanting to play a lot of games at a quick tempo. It takes time to adjust to the True Poker site, as you look over the table with a circle of players from your position and your pocket cards facing down. All players, including the dealer are avatars. There is no multi-table play, but this shouldn’t detract too much from playing on what is essentially a very good poker site.

Also, you do not see the site of the pot, as you have to move the mouse over pot in order to see the size, which can be a bit of a pain. The traffic is in the medium range, with about 200-300 players at peak times in the ring games. The traffic is very concentrated to Hold 'em games. There is a good selection of play money tables. Tournament traffic stands at about 150-200 players at peak times. The poker tournament buy-ins range from $6 (with a $1 entry fee) to a $100 (with a $10 entry fee). Tournament poker games primarily consist of Texas Hold 'em and Omaha Hi & Hi-Lo. True Poker offers a number of the World Series of Poker satellite tournaments in which the winners get their entry fee paid to the WSOP. The game variety is limited to only Hold 'em and Omaha Hi and Hi-Lo. Deposit options include VISA, MasterCard, NETeller, FirePay, PrePaid ATM, bank draft, cashier's cheque. The only cash out option is a bank draft sent to billing address.
